Willie, you are more astute than most 'Burghers....coming from the South, I immediately identified Pittsburgh as a mid-western town, as opposed to east coast (I am originally from NYC). Most 'Burghers don't want to hear that, though.

And while at PSU, I met many, many 'Burghers that did not like Philly because they identified it with NYC, which they did not like even more.

Well, ya gotta learn to exclude any city in Ohio.
If you go further west, comparisons to cities like Indianapolis or St. Louis are OK,
but if you mention Cincinnati or (***barf***) Cleveland,
you better have your bags packed and ready to leave town in a sudden hurry.
