The emotion of this article brings back sad memories from 1966. One of our friends from around the block was killed in action after only being in Vietnam for several months. He enlisted shortly after high school. I recall saying, and thinking to myself: "But..but.., Harry was one of the best stick-ball players in the neighborhood..."

It was my moment of lost innocence. I enlisted the following year. Continued prayers for Harry...and new ones for Kelan.
