In recalling the wars with U.S. involvement over the last 50 years, I can't remember a single war from Korea to Gulf War II where Israel provided troops, equipment, or money. What good is an ally if they are an ally in words only, never actions. If I were to choose one country to be on our side, I would choose Britian. They have proven what it means to be an ally.
I believe the U.S.S. Liberty was one of the closest contacts between the U.S. military and the Israeli armed forces. With friends like that.....
