Since it was reported by the medical personnel that examined Boorda's body that there were two gunshot wounds to the chest, Lantos's remark was not only reprehensible, but it also appears to be inaccurrate on the minor detail of suicide.
Expect Lantos to report next on how Mossad was responsible for the Union's victory at Gettysburg. I nominate Lantos for the postion of Iraqi Information Minister.

For those that don't recall the name Craig Livingstone, he was one of the two White House personnel members sent to ID Vince Foster's body.
According to the Starr Report, one of the two, either Livingstone or Kennedy, solved the biggest puzzle concerning the Foster suicide during the ID process. The Park Police could not explain the inability to locate Foster's car keys anywhere at the scene or on Foster's person.
Luckily, Livingstone or Kennedy, the Starr Report does not identify which one, reached into the pants pocket of dead the Vince Foster and produced a key ring with Foster's car key on it. Case solved. Obvious suicide.
