And if you want to talk about costly allies what about Poland? So far Poland sent a handful of troops to Iraq and signed a letter. That cost the United States over $6 billion in military aircraft for Poland. Not only are many billions of investment dollars being spent in Poland as part of the deal, absolutely no principal will be repaid until 2010 ie in other words, forget it. And before you start in, Israel has always repaid her loans on time, and no, they have never been forgiven.
