Colmes is a good guy. Well intentioned and the kind of Democrat Republicans can respect (even if dead wrong). Colmes can concede an argument when facts negate his side. Couldnt say the same thing for Hannity.
Im sorry, Hannity just bothers me with his finger pointing and personal attacks for me to take him seriously.

I agree. Hannity makes me embarrassed to be a republican sometimes. I agree with most of his opinions but he is such a big jerk.

Agreed...and if there's no other reason to respect Colmes, which I actually have grown to respect more and more over the past year or so, he does concede points. I don't agree with most anything he says, however, I will listen to him (sometimes painfully, lol), simply because he's honest and sincere in what he's thinking....and also because I think he's willing to be open-minded, at least to a point....I don't know if it's just me, but it also seems to me he's moved to the right a tad from a year and a half ago.

Not always a popular opinion here, but Colmes is an honest guy, even if he is often wrong.

I love Hannity too. But, I have to agree with you, that at times he relies more on emotions than presenting a good argument. And he never, never, concedes that he may be wrong!
I have seen Alan admitt that the conservatives have a good point, but, I have never heard Hannity admitt that the liberals have a good point. And the fact is, that at times they do!

Exactly! While I disagree with Colmes on virtually every issue and typically agree with Hannity, I have MUCH more respect for Colmes because he argues his points with more dignity and class.

SMITH288'S TAG LINE SAYS: "(Thats right, Christianity is exclusive, you have to love animals to be in PETA, is that exclusive?)"
I don't look at Christianity as "exclusive" at all. To me, it is exactly the opposite!
Jesus Christ died for ALL people! It is OUR OWN CHOICE as to whether we ACCEPT or REJECT Him!
I heard a story (I don't know if it is true) about a death row inmate who was given a pardon but HE CHOSE to REFUSE to ACCEPT the pardon. The case supposedly went to the U. S. Supreme Court, on the idea that the guy should be granted the pardon and his life spared.
The USSC supposedly said that A PARDON MUST BE ACCEPTED---BY THE PERSON BEING PARDONED---for it to be in effect and that the guy COULD NOT BE FORCED TO ACCEPT THE PARDON!
The guy got his wish and was executed as sentenced.
As I said before: Jesus Christ died for ALL people! It is OUR OWN CHOICE as to whether we ACCEPT or REJECT Him!

Hannity is irritating because even though I agree with him on most issues, his method of dealing with those who disagree with him disturbs me. He usually calls his opponent a name while raising his voice. Or he goes off on some irrelevant tack like he did with Stanley Cohen a month or so ago. Saying your opponent has lost his soul will not win points with conservatives who would like to see extreme leftists defeated with logical arguments and facts not shouted at with moral imprecations like Hannity does. But apparently his fans like his style. I like Hannity when he's just speaking by himself. However when he debates his ideological opponents, he fails.
