I didn't mean to embarrass you.

You didn't embarrass me. But you'll embarrass yourself if you keep this going.

If I didn't embarrass you why did you ask me to drop it?

I made a mistake on which group was involved in the standoff in Montana.

This statement proves my point. You made a mistake, calling the Free Men, Militia. A kneejerk freudian slip which is the result of hearing the propaganda so many times that it becomes the automatic thought you jump to whenever "standoff with the government" is said. I can hardly embarrass myself, the evidence is so obvious.

Thanks for the links along with all the other efforts you put into so many things here. :)

I've been having some trouble keeping things straight at times.

Offhand, can you tell me whatever became of the standoff situation on Cedar Creek Lake near Gunbarrel City,Texas?

I am similarly challenged- too damn many "issues" to follow as well as I should.

I am not familiar with the situation you mention, but I will look for it later.

Ask backhoe a simple question and I get a full encyclopedia as an answer. :O)

Big thanks for all the links,I'd been wondering what the story was but kept getting a little here and a touch there, not enough to understand the situation at all.

.

So far I've only read a couple of the links but did note one thing.

The altercation Gray had with the Texas Troopers happened near Palistine, which is not far from Noonday, maybe 30 miles.

Noonday is where the stash of guns, bombs, bomb making supplies, etc. were found in a storage rental.

The guy that had the stash was from the N.E.part of the Country and was investigated for selling false IDs,I believe.

The two situations happening so close to each other struck me but it's probably just coincidence.

.

I've spent a lot of time working on both Cedar Creek Lake and Lake Palistine, besides having family near Noonday,so I know the area pretty well.

Also,David Koresh's bunch had property somewhere near Palistine,I believe.

Probably coincidence but it sure seems strange having all these things so close together.

It is somewhat strange and if I recall,The Branch Davidians nearly built their Church on the property near Palestine before building near Waco but still owned the property during the seige and may still.

Excuse my spelling of Palestine in the other post.Sleepy and medicated.

Waco, The rules of engagement.-- in the end killed them all. Be certain to have a good stiff drink if you're going to watch this, as it is repugnant.
