I agree 100%! Savage is, however entertaining... If you want to listen to someone who's mildly amusing, he's fine- he'll crack you up, but he's way too over-the-top for my liking.
Rush... very few can be compared to him. He's awesome, although I cringe every time he uses the phrase "on loan from God". What does that mean???

I don't see what the big deal is with Savage. Sure, he's quite often over the top, but he's all kinds of entertaining. I'm not going to say that he should be point man for leading the nation's conservative debate. I do think that having him around to angrily and passionately attack underhanded liberalism is very amusing.
Beyond a certain point, the liberal point of view is just so unreasonable that it needs someone to leap up with a bullhorn and scream at them, if nothing else than for our own satisfaction.
