Good. Bluegrass is probably the most intricate music on the country scene and is fascinating!

The more styles you listen to, the better off you are. Each of them has something unique to offer. (Our 4 kids have liked practically everything from alternative Christian -POD, Project86- to Renaissance choral music).

Do you like early jazz (like New Orleans and Swing), or do you like the newer styles like Fusion?

Maybe Ole Ray was invited because he could not get through the evening without singing: "Tell your ma, tell your pa, gonna send you back to Arkansas, all right!"

Actually I thought "Tell me what I say," was one of the defining songs of '60's rock and roll, we used to play it for hours with 30 or 40 people in our frat house.

On another note, Ray Charles, when you meet him in person is a really decent guy, unlike so many of the singers of today.

Wasn't it a really *big* deal that he danced a few steps at the inaugural ball? - Because he doesn't dance at all?

W. sometimes waggles his hips when he's on a stage. Does he like to dance?

"No," he said. "It's not a religious thing. I just don't dance. At the last inauguration, I did the box step for about 25 seconds and declared my dancing over for the year.

. . . I don't go to dances and I don't socialize very much."

"American Box" Ha! that's a classic. I'm sure there are some very nervous 'Americans' praying the bombing took care of the evidence.

Isn't it odd that Ray Charles after so many decades of blindness is still so incapcitated in his movements?
