As a young private, I was driving a big army truck at a 0-dark-thirty convoy to somewhere on the highway, I was dead tired. I had to have a cup of coffee, but where, how? I had an MRE ration, so I just ripped open the package - "Coffee Instant Type I" 2.2 grams net, downed it, and took a big ole swig from the canteen. Bleh. It worked though!
