I know this reply wasn't to me, but I DO work for a supplier to Boeing, also a supplier to Airbus. Believe we do about 10 times the amount for Boeing, and yes, the work is slooow right now. BTW, I got the same canned response from JetBlue.

my buddy works for jet blue as a mechanic...used to work for United but he got laid off with a bunch of others.
one of the reasons for going with airbus is that arent going to wait for beoing to have planes for them to buy...
also some of the planes listed as being purchased are just OPTIONS to buy.
