to rule based on an economy of Love and mercy triumphing over justice . . .

"ALL CREATION GROANS, WAITING EXPECTANTLY, EAGERLY FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SONS OF GOD."

I can imagine why all kinds of ET races might want to observe the process and the winding up of said process in our era.

Of course, there may be a variety of valid other explanations for at least parts of the phenomenon.
