My respect for Blair is still high.... I listened to his impassioned speeches before his parliment when his 'job' was on the line.... and he was steadfast in doing the 'right thing'. However, you do bring up a good point as far as our timing is concerned. Maybe it was Blair's meetings with Clinton that convinced Bush to "just do it".
