Compromise is a part of politics Luis, but it's something for the President to deal with, not Free Republic. FR should not expect or defend it. We should always be the hard rim on the Right, not the get-along centre. Regards, By

The rest of FReepdom may be here to discuss theories and ideology, but I am a trenches guy, I'm all about sending my best choice to DC everytime.

I'm about politics, and politics are about compromise to gain leverage.

I don't know what "other conservatives" you're talking about, I've never met one that describes Ronnie as "dissapointing".
