In case you didn't notice it was White House spokesman Scott McClellan who started this mess. Most of us on the ground are calling our reps but it doesn't excuse the White House from using a Saturday bombshell to get gunowners to beat the bushes.

I find it ironic that this thread sat virtually idle during the time of AnnaZ's show but it exploded when a handfull of folks showed up after the show was over.

You mean, made the public aware of the upcoming congressional debate over the issue so that we could let our feelings on the subject be known to our congressional representatives, and they could not sneak it in behind Laci Peterson stories?

that was strange.....and for sure they were not listening and for sure did not want others to listen either which was why they didn't bump it during the show. Someone might find out the truth that they try and cover up about this issue which is President Bush by signing this he would be trashing the second amendment.

Annaz tried asked the WH for someone to be on for the first hour and give their side and they did not even bother to respond let alone have someone on.
