It says the guy they named it after actually helped get the park in place. Sounds like he probably deserved the honor. I'm sure they can find another way to honor the fallen marine.

I'm sure they can find another way to honor the fallen marine.There is nothing they can do for Sgt. May and his family now that won't look like a cheap consolation prize therby reminding people how they originally snubbed him.
The only way to make the park any tackier now is to use painted white used tires from the county vehicles to plant flowers in.
