France is STILL playing games...... they've supported us in lifting the sanctions, EXCEPT they want confirmation that there are no WMD there before the sanctions are lifted. And guess who needs to confirm that. Uh huh..... Blixie.
*sigh* France is trying to get back into our good graces, but..... they still manage to screw things up for themselves.

I just fired of an email to the Toronto Sun .They had an editorial wanting the lifting of sanctions but said Blix should go back in to lend credibility. What credibility? France wants a suspension of sanctions..not a lifting and that is a sticky wicket.

*sigh* France is trying to get back into our good graces, but..... they still manage to screw things up for themselves. France is like a cartoon character that has walked off the edge of a cliff but doesn't yet realize it. They think they can still maintain "leadership of the 'anti-war' movement" yet simultaneously make friends again with us Americans.
They are going to have to pick a side; if they pick our side they have a ton of forgiveness to beg for. They made a complete mockery of the UN.
But so far they seem to naively think they can maintain a two-faced charade and will get away with it. I guess they've gotten away with alot in their history. Sorry little country...
