I really really hope nobody takes this the wrong way.....
When I first heard he was alive, my immediate reaction was "I hope not"
The thought of what he has endured the last 12 years, and what he will be returning to, is too much for me to bear. How any man can survive that, and come away from it in good health, both mentally and physically is beyond me.
It seems almost better to me that didn't survive this long.

Thanks for saying what I have been thinking all along.
It almost seems cruel and selfish to want him to be alive...
(but hey, I have become pretty mean and cynical from seeing folks 'keep' loved ones alive in hell)...

How long was Senator McCain a prisoner? I think with the right faith system, we can endure anything.

I know what you are saying. We cannot even begin to imagine what he has likely gone through (is either still going through or went through before he passed). I don't know how a person could recover from that ever. Unless he's been shipped to another country I'm not totally convinced he is still alive. I just think that his family deserves at least to know 100% without a doubt if he is alive or dead. It's got to be agony being told he's dead, then not dead, then possibly captured, then who knows.
