I am of the opinion that the one major reason we made sure to protect the Ministry of Oil is that we are in the "follow the money" mode... and we know that the Ministry of Oil will have all sorts of records about who was on the take, who was trading oil for weapons, who was trading despite sanctions, etc... I don't think our protection of the Ministry of Oil had anything to do with OIL, but it had to do with the records that will show who all the worldwide criminals are in this "quagmire" that has been Saddam's Regime and the Oil for Food program.

Like Dennis Miller said: "The oil is more important to Iraqs future than the museum was."

I think your opinon is on target.

The "follow the money" road signs lead to Paris, Bonn/Berlin and Moscow. Not to leave out, Kofi Annan and the rest of those UN stooges.

Good morning! I also think you are correct. During the war Fox had on a Congressman who is on the Armed Services Committee and he said that we had teams of Treasury guys and other experts, including forensic accountants, who were going to be looking at records. (He brought this up while they were talking about the WMD teams.)

So I think you are exactly right. Coupled with all the information the Telegraph got from the intelligence files, we should have some very interesting information over the next few weeks.
