The talks with North Korea ended badly .......so keep your eye's open toward that region of the world. Anything specific? Kim Jong stomp out of the room or something? I can't be in front of TV today. Not cube bound but chore-bound!

N Korea talks over: PowellUS Secretary of State Colin Powell said that three-way talks between North Korea, China and the United States had ended a day earlier than expected and warned Pyongyang that Washington would not respond to threats.

Amazing Little Kimmy still doesn't quite get it. He expected Powell to do a little dance with him like he did with Halfbright.

At least you're getting interviews. That's a good thing!

I am convinced Scott Speicher is alive and we will find him. I agree. We are getting closer every day.
This brave man has endured years in prison. How must he have felt those first few months and years realizing no one was coming to get him out? Did the Iraqis torment him by telling him we all thought he was dead, that no one cared, that no one was going to save him?

UN extends the Oil for Food program until June 3rd. That's not good news at all. Isn't it? What was the reasoning behind this, does anyone know?

http://www.washingtondispatch.com/article_5210.shtml The Left does not hate George W. Bush because he is an awful president, rather they hate him because he is good. There has not been this much blatant hatred for an American president in decades. Whether it is the Left in Europe or right here in the U.S., there will always be something said, no matter how counter-intuitive, criticizing George W. Bush.

I really really hope nobody takes this the wrong way.....
When I first heard he was alive, my immediate reaction was "I hope not"
The thought of what he has endured the last 12 years, and what he will be returning to, is too much for me to bear. How any man can survive that, and come away from it in good health, both mentally and physically is beyond me.
It seems almost better to me that didn't survive this long.

Not under search words job, jobs, career, careers..
A hint please?

Much ambivalence re: Scott..
The polyanna in us all would like to see him alive; have some rehab & "fit in"
The common sense in this sees a mixed bad of joy/pain.
We want to minimize pain..not easy to always do.
We need to keep this in God's hands, where Scott is & has been, whatever his lot

It is too horrible to even fathom what he has gone through physically or mentally should he still be alive. His nephew was on FOX this morning, and said they knew he could survive this mentally due to his strong faith in God.

When I originally suggested this I had thought of a permanent situation with Lookers & lookins (well, perhaps a more professional approach.)
But the idea would be for FReepers to have an ongoing list to draw from of employers & potential employees.
I am struggling w/basics of HTML.. If I had ability I would volunteer to help set this up..I think this would be a valuable tool for the FReepers

You will see two little Monitors.
Refer to the one on the left.
Scroll down the drop & select Fox Audio
I think you need a special media player - which I fortunately have.
BUT I need more ram.. have 256. With Fox audio going & doing this thread, I need to defrag my RAM every several minutes
