It seems that some people have already forgotten Sept 11th.

There are those who would say

That it was only a day

And that we should just move along

Peace is just what we need

And to the UN they concede

And that War, for any reason is wrong

But they forget what it cost

And our loved ones were lost

It was not we who started this fight

But there are some that care

And a burden they’ll bear

To be part of America’s might

We must all say a prayer

For our men over there

Those we lost in September

When you respond to a person's post, you are bumping the thread back up to the top. You'll see BTTT sometimes (Back To The Top). Bump sometimes. Heck, sometimes you'll see just a period. It doesn't matter, it's just a term and a way to keep the thread active.

A ping is when you alert someone to a thread you're on. Again, you'll see the word "ping"....or ANYTHING.....just writing in someone's name in the "To" part of your post, pings them. When you're here for awhile and find things that interest you, daily, or posters whose posts interest you, you can ask them to put you on a ping list.
