You show me a quote in that thread where I specifically complained about a gun group.

I went through all of those posts and didn't find a thing. The same thing can't be said about the NRA haters.

I did notice that I asked someone if they had "The Rules". If you're familiar with them, you better read them a couple of time more often. You still don't get it.

If people like you knew what the NRA does, you wouldn't complain. Maybe if you got your head out of your butt and tried to join the fight, you would know more.

Really? Coulda fooled me.

Listen, I'd really rather not fight with you on this one. From the sounds of things you are active in the firearms community and are trying to do the right thing in your own way. The rest of us are doing it in ours.

What we need to do is get more people to support the 2A and RKBA in general. To stop seeing firearms advocates as "gun nuts" and "right-wing nutcases". We've got some of the Hill-Billy brigade in our midst, to be sure. But damnit, some of us ARE hardliners. A little infingement really IS as bad as a lot. We've seen the frog pot rise to damn near a boil. Some of that with the support of the premire gun group, the NRA.

Some of us feel a little burnt by that. Yer' just gonna have to forgive us for not wanting to give up anything else.

Where did I ever say we didn't need these "hardliners"? Where do you people ever get this idea that we don't need ALL of the gun groups.

That's the point. We need all of the gun groups.

We don't need anyone, whether it's an NRA member or any other group, playing divide and conquer.

I will continue to slam anyone who starts their whiny BS about which gun group is "better" or "worse".

WORK TOGETHER IN ORDER TO DEFEAT GUN CONTROL

Admirable sentiments, and I would wholeheartedly do so with the NRA except for one little thing.
THE NRA DOESN'T WORK TO DEFEAT GUN CONTROL. THE NRA WORKS TO COMPROMISE WITH IT

The NRA will actively support gun control when they've decided it's "good gun control" Project Exile is one example. I have given you many other examples in the past.

I have been an NRA member off and on since 1960. I saw the sell out in '66 I saw it in '86 and I see it every time they get involved on the state level here in GA.

I have limited resources. I don't intend to spend any more time or money on an organization that doesn't have the same goal I do. So I will work with the NRA when they stop supporting gun control. Until such time, I will work with organizations that don't say one thing and then traitorously stab you in the back.

I never told you to join the NRA.

I told you to quit referencing a organization you have nothing to do with.

I asked you three times already if you know of any organization that does it better, I would like to hear it and you only mentioned a local group without going into any details about what they do.

You are the one with the preoccupation, not me.
If that isn't true, I would like to see you comment about any other group as much as you mention a group you don't belong to.

What a pompous arrogant statement! You'll tell me what to discuss? I got news for you buddy. I'll discuss what I want without asking your permission - further if you had read post 45 you would have seen the following, "I have been an NRA member off and on since 1960. I saw the sell out in '66 I saw it in '86 and I see it every time they get involved on the state level here in GA. "

I asked you three times already if you know of any organization that does it better, I would like to hear it and you only mentioned a local group without going into any details about what they do.

I and several other posters have answered this question repeatedly in previous posts and threads and you either ignore the answer or you just don't understand it. I'm not answering it any more; however, it you look at any of the posts I've made referencing GA and SB1 you'll see one example of what CSG does and answer it for yourself.

You have yet to address the basic problem, and that is the NRA actively supports gun control. At least the Brady hag is up front with her position. The NRA tells you one thing and does something quite different. If I wanted a limited access to guns with lots of gun control I'd join the NRA again.

If your organization was so good in Georgia, you could have told me and the rest of the posters what they have actually done. You didn't.

Do you want to try a fourth time?

What has your organization actually accomplished?

Read the posts on GA and SB1. I'm tired of wasting my time on you
