Horsepower and martial valor couldn't have come at a better time.

The French semiologist Roland Barthes once said he considered cars "almost the exact equivalent of the great Gothic cathedrals

Give me a twisty road and I'll get from point A to point B quicker in my 150 HP Dodge Neon than just about any muscle car. And I'll have plenty of fun doing it.

Give us a twisty road and you will be in the weeds. Not even competition drivers can press a front wheel drive car hard without losing it in some of the corners. You fail to uderstand that the classic muscle cars of the 60s would handle as well as a Ferrari in the turns as well as having brute power. And I was the loser in the Ferrari, so I know.

What's the GTO David Boreanaz drives on Angel? Now THAT people consider the quintessential muscle car and it looks cool in that menacing black.

My wife has been driving a car of similar styling since Jan 1995. I's called a Buick Riviera and although iit's front whel drive it did come with the Super Charged 3.8. We will be taking a look at the SS. I feel an obligation to buy the new GTO as I was one of the Fortunate ones to own and race a Tri Power Goat in 65, 66 and 67. I traded it on a 68 Chevy Step Side that I still have. 65,000 miles. Can you post a pic of the Riviera ?

I have a 69 olds in the garage as my toy. I plan on accumulating a pile of cash and giving it to professionals to do a frame off customization. From what I have read, some modern updating matched with the no emmission controls will be sweet.

We just sold our loaded with everything Suburban....my wife never liked it. Too big, it was only a year old.

She drives an ML320 and loves it. I have a nine year old Land Rover that I have kept up mechanically which with Land Rovers is beyond paramount. We keep my deceased dad's 95 Grand Cherokee in the garage and jump start it and drive it some as back up and for when I my girls get their DL in 1-2 years.

I got my DL in 1972. My folks would not allow a 69 Chevy SS396 like I wanted. I bought an MGB instead for around 1400 dollars. Fun car...poorly built.

If I just wanted to ride a rocket, I'd buy a Ducati or an Aprilla or Bimota...after I trebled my already hefty life insurance..lol....I did own a lot of superbikes in college.

If I had room and money, I'd like an older Land Rover Series convertible in military green.

If the photo looks to be a good size, don't worry about the height and width.

In a Windows based system, you can right click on the photo, chose "properties" from the menu that pops up and copy the address(URL) that shows up.

I remember when the Judge hit the streets. Mopar even hired Paul Revere and the Raiders to cut a recording of the car's theme song:

Did I hear you say "Mopar"???

This is as close to my older brother's midnight blue 65 GTO convertible I could find.

He went from that to an XKE and on and on until in 78 got another 65 midnight blue GTO to restore.

Those were other times.

He would take his girl friend's Sting Ray and go way too fast.

A friend had a monster very similar to 29 above except purple and no hood.

Very fast and loud, taking a couple of girls to a Chicago Stones concert, a hundred miles on the Interstate way, way too fast.

He got a Mercedes roadster which is something else.

Hey, you've probably already seen it around the neighborhood. It's a '73 Lincoln Continental Mark IV with custom paint and wheels. It's red, silver and black.
