Hey, we elected The Hitlery clone for our gov., I still cannot believe it. This is just the beginning. She also has vetoed, for her trial lawyer buddies, a bill that would have helped tourism in Kansas similar to what Colorado has as far a riding horses and other agriclulture based tourism.
PING Kansas

I hope every one is writing this stuff down. She will not be able to pretend she's a conservative next time.

Where was all this concern for academic freedom when the issue was creation science?

I am not surprised, sadly.
The idiots in this state have brought it upon themselves. Luckily, I don't watch the local news much so I don't know all that Sebelius is doing.

I'm pretty angry with her for the KS Highway Patrol stopping cars in rush hour on I-35 with traffic. Wow, what a law & order gal! First Holden, then her, and 60 seats in the Senate along the way.

Jezus.
I thought I was old enough I would not have to be here when the earth fell into the sun, or Kansas became a liberal state.
I will probably have to follow my father's footsteps and off myself to avoid witnessing one or the other.

How on earth was this scum elected? We used to blame it on the "huge", overly-liberal voter base in Sedgewick County but I heard, today, that Johnson County has surpassed Sedgewick in population. With JoCo and the rest of the "proper thinking" (*l* what else should they be called) electorate, this abomination should not have been elected.
I say that and then recall that we also managed to put Finney in office.
Our Republican leaders need to start earning their keep. They need to be educating the populace non-stop, whether it's an election year or not. The only way to overcome this garbage is to make certain all the (R) candidates and their platforms are well known. I know they've been slacking in my area and if they're slacking here, the rest of the state has to be clueless.
