You make a very good point. This woman's veto is to serve a constituency she doesn't want to rile up ... it has nothing to do with gov't oversight of health facilities or abortion to her, just a way to keep fires from popping up when /if she took a ,oral or principled stance on legislation. How do you keep yourself from getting discouraged? I just had a nasty exchange (on the thread about NOW backing off their statements on the Peterson case) with someone whose heart was closed to the idea of human life as sacred.

This guvner is the worst. She operates Kansas like Sodomy ran Iraq after the first bombs fell.
She's a clueless twit and so far has failed in everything she's done.
Her idea of "paying down the loss of tax revenue", includes gambling and other activites of the same moral ilk. In fact, she seems to be very into anything that is immoral.
She just vetoed a bill that would have prevented the use of porn in colleges as a teaching aid.
Our only hope is that the bible belters in this state wake up before the next election.
