A National Sales Tax is very different from a National Retail Sales Tax.

A national RETAIL sales tax is not what is described in the first paragraphs above. The word RETAIL changes everything.

FAQ here.

Is the National Sales Tax (as described above) a VAT? A VAT would be an internal tax.

A National Retail Sales Tax would tax all products, internally manufactured or imported.

The word RETAIL changes everything.

LOL!...What brilliance.

There you go with your Joseph Goebbels/Baghdad Bob routine again. Now find the word "retail" anywhere in HR25 (the fairtax) legislation. Don't bother, it isn't there.

So far we've learned from you, in HR25 there are words in it that actually aren't there (retail),

The 23% tax is "of the gross payment" and actually is in excess of a 30% tax depending on where you live.

And some of the words that are there, don't actually mean what they mean...

For example: According to you, "gross payments" doesn't mean..well, gross payments.

According to you, prices will be reduced 20,30, 40%...Of course you, nor anyone else can't seem to demonstrate how exactly...I guess you just somehow know (or feel?) they would.
