I disagree. Big time. Maines made her idiotic comments on foreign soil, during wartime. That is bad enough. Worse still, I have a sneaking suspicion that her comments were part of a calculated strategy that badly backfired. There is an interesting thread about this.
I have no problem whatsoever with these empty-headed entertainers spouting off about their hatred for war, Bush or America. They are entitled to take unpopular stands; we are entitled to remind them that such crap comes with a commercial price. The latter is our exercise of freedom--the freedom not to give patronage to any people, products or services associated with these folks.
