Today's flag is a very special one to me. Since 9/11 I've been wanting a tall flagpole to display Old Glory, rather than the bracket on the house. (It's usually windy here, so much of the time the flag would just wrap itself around the pole until there was nothing showing but the stripes. Yesterday we got to raise our flag proudly in the sky.
