I have been thinking about this, and I am beginning to think that the times are changing, and the belligerent shouting style that was popular during the Clinton years is losing its effectiveness. The other day Tony Snow had an interview with a Middle Eastern historian, and it was so refreshing to get INFORMATION about Muslim history and culture, rather than the shouting and political spin.
Maybe I am just worn out, but I see no gain for the conservative movement in the shout shows. The country has moved into a different mental frame due to the events of September 11, and those who don't change are going to be ignored, Hannity included.

Wow...once again "what you said."
I'll fully admit--I'm the guy who starts getting sad when a vacation starts because I know it'll going to be over soon, but I can't shake this fear that we're going to see a major backlash against conservatism if we don't clean our house a bit. I hope I'm wrong.

I think Hannity has gotten much, much worse lately. He points his finger and ticks off the talking points, shouts over the top of the guests and then starts the whole act all over again. Some of what he says is valid, but he cannot think on his feet and the decibel level needs to be turned down.
You know he's gone too far when you start to feel a little sorry for Alan!

I fear Hannity is getting too obsessed with himself....listening to his Radio Show, then the RERUN on his nightly show gets more than boring....
Add to that the fact that he is continually READING OFF SCRIPT OR FROM ARTICLES and rarely offers up an ORIGINAL thought...
I just find him too boring anymore to listen to.
