Some Minnesota banks will be among the first in the country to require their customers to provide an indisputable form of identification when they open an account: Their thumbprint.
Most banks throughout the country, including about 300 in Minnesota, already fingerprint non-customers who cash checks, but at least 150 Minnesota banks want to go one step further.

Time to start cashing those payroll checks and pay bills with cheap money orders. Let's see how much these guys are all for it when their C-O-B goes through the roof processing thousands of money orders.
