The full piece is actually quite nuanced and not nearly as depraved as this excerpt. Nonetheless, anyone with such "secret wishes" really has no business serving in a senior position in what claims to be an unbiased media organization. "moral sensitivity" is one thing, wishing for deaths of our soldiers is another. We should all press Salon and it's backers

I disagree. Salon is at the point in its pathetic existance that the best way to harm them is to simply pretend they dont exist, just like everyone else does...:-)...JFK
