No big deal, daisy - was merely assaulted by a - yes - a CHRISTMAS CARD!!

Was dressed to go for physical therapy on Thursday and tidied up, putting something on a high shelf...dislodged an open box of leftover Christmas cards, and one struck the cornea of my right eye -

Years ago in North Carolina, Easter Monday was observed as a legal holiday. Suppose it got too complicated for "busi-nesses" to staff offices and stores, etc., on top of Easter, and it was dropped.

Doesn't prevent us from celebrating it, however!!
