Inhumane event
Re "Brief encounter" (April 13):
Last Sunday's picture of two men forcing underwear on a goat for an event at the gay rodeo was unsettling at best. The gay community, known for its compassion and sensitivity, certainly did not display those attributes when they incorporated this inhumane event in the rodeo's schedule of entertainment.
If you think this event was not cruelty to animals but merely innocent fun, think again. Forcing any living thing to partake in an unnatural and distressing act is abuse. In addition, the printing of this picture in the name of journalism only added to the disrespect of living things.

If they had sex with the aforesaid goat, I wonder what PETA's position would be.

This is a joke, right?
" Forcing any living thing to partake in an unnatural and distressing act is abuse." These guys are fairies!! Forcing living things to partake in an unnatural and distressing act is their "chosen life style."

I read the part about "Forcing any living thing to partake in an unnatural and distressing act is abuse" and I thought, "In other words, being gay is abusing?"!

The gay community, known for its compassion and sensitivity,Where's the "barf alert"? I'm sure Dr. Laura would dissagree with this statement.

If they had sex with the aforesaid goat, I wonder what PETA's position would be.PETA would insist on "coctails and dinner" for the goat, before sex.

Forcing living things to partake in an unnatural and distressing act is their "chosen life style."Except that most gays don't force anyone to partake in anything, they choose to.

"Dare I ask to see it?" You can ask, but I don't have it. I don't read the weekend papers. You might try searching their website.

I wish the letter writer has the same outrage about the aggressive promotion of homosexuality in the government schools.
