...subsidized by a secretive religious organization...a group alternately known as the "Fellowship" and the "Foundation" that brings together world leaders and elected officials through religion....The Fellowship hosts receptions, luncheons and prayer meetings on the first two floors of the house, which is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a church....It organizes the annual National Prayer Breakfast attended by the president, members of Congress and dignitaries from around the world....

Oh yeah - sounds real secretive to me. So secretive, only about 99% of all Washington DC knows about it.

Good for them. I think it's great that Christians have a way to live with other Christians in the cesspool of Washington. Bound to be able to draw a lot of strength from that.

"Privacy" is now redefined as "secrecy" by these anti-Christian bigots (and I don't have any qualms calling Barry Lynn an anti-Christian bigot, even though he purports to be a Christian; he clearly is not).

For as long as I can rememeber, the Washington Post has run room-sharing classifieds under "Apartments, rooms, houses to share."

So any bonehead with access to the Post could determine that $600 is just about market rate anywhere on Capitol Hill or in Northwest.

Here is an example from today.

...but mostly it's more of an accountability group to talk about things that are going on in our lives, and how we're dealing with them."

Now this is refreshing. These men and women could definately use accountability once they're away from their families for extended periods of time.

Would they rather these guys buy half million dollar houses in the Burbs of DC and become 'planted' in Washington? Sounds like these guys are trying to live within their means as Congrassmen while keeping their homes in their homes districts. What a novel concept!

But you know those Christians; they're always up to something nefarious! ;o)

Alert the BATF and FBI. They have previous experience handling wacko religious groups.

Jeez, where was the Arizona Republic when Gary Condidit and his Congressional cronies were having the orgy de jour? God-fearing people freak the paper out, but not Congressional pervs who are a threat to the public and national security?
