Come on. Anyone who uses the Quackwatch site for information and reference hasn't done their homework. The guy that runs that site is financed by drug companies, and there is no hint of objectivity in the content.

Please don't talk about people being quacks and soaking poor schmucks for their money based on what Dr. Quackwatch says; he is making tons of money off of his agenda.

The truth is there are pseudo science among conventional & alternative therapies. Some of these alternative stuffs is nothing but new age stuff. Nowadays, it takes much discernmento difeerentiate scientific fact from fictions. you can't trust many published studies any more. Examples abound such as about the myths about cholesterol & myths. I might post some startling revelations about the dangers of low or no fat diet later. Briefly, the low-fat campaign has benefited the food industry which produced endless lines of low- fat, no-fat products. It also benefirted the cholesterol-lowering drugs' manufacturers. it's another scandle.
