FOUR PEOPLE WOUNDED IN TERRORIST ACT IN CHECHNYA
Four persons from the Federal Security Service (FSB) have been wounded in a terrorist act committed in the capital of the Chechen Republic, Grozny.
The terrorist act occurred Thursday at about 3:20 p.m. in the Zavodskoi district of Grozny, a source in the Chechen administration said.
According to the source, an unidentified explosive device worked off at the checkpoint at the moment when a car carrying officers of the FSB directorate for Chechnya was passing on.
The officers in the car received wounds of varying gravity in the explosion and were urgently taken to hospital.
The public prosecutor's office of the Zavosdkoi district have instituted criminal proceedings and investigation is underway.
