It is wise to wait until some more pieces of the puzzle are in place to reach any concrete conclusions. But what about this snippet:

The scientist also told American weapons experts that Iraq had secretly sent unconventional weapons and technology to Syria, starting in the mid-1990's, and that more recently Iraq was cooperating with Al Qaeda, the military officials said.

The report, if truthful, claims that "unconventional weapons", not mere building blocks were sent to Syria. It doesn't specify when the weapons were sent to Syria--could be back in the late 80's up to days before the war.

Also, the tie in to Al Qaeda is extremely noteworthy and justifies our taking out SH as part of the larger War on Terror because they are one and the same. Pelosi and other Democrats were saying that we are neglecting the War on Terror as we pursued SH. Bush said they were the same.

My hope is that they are saving up the revelations... y'know I hope this too, but we sure hoped for some information that would smack down Blix before the War and we never got it. I hope our Intel Sources can be used this time since I believe that's why we did not go for full disclosure before the war. And we probably figured Saddam needed to be brought down, in any case.

Finding the weapons in Iraq isn't required to have found a smoking gun. Just finding evidence that Iraq lied about its development of WMD is the smoking gun. The weapons, whether in Syria or elsewhere, are still Iraqi weapons.

Chalabi said Hussein was still in Iraq, that his intelligence is about 12 hours behind Hussein.

I'd like Chalabi to be zero hours behind Saddam.

I really DO mean welcome - we get zapped over there for just breathing. The right is not as intolerant as the left believes - it's like Reagan said, "It's not that Liberals are stupid, it's just that they know so much that isn't true."

Why don't you get back on your bigwheel and ride home. Everything's gonna be alright, even for trolls like you.

WE MUST FIND THE WEAPOONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION or history will make us a laughing stock.

Don't be ridiculous, history is going to show that this is the defining moment when terrorism received its death blow, when the Mullahs of hate began to lose their audience. Our freeing the Iraqi people of their long nightmare is also going to awaken many others in the Middle East. This war was about a LOT more than WMDs, but don't get your knickers in a twist, they are already finding much evidence.

I just heard Judith Miller talking on Fox. She is embedded with the troops looking for the WMD.

It was a stunning interview. And she is POSITIVE that they are there and we will find them.

I heard that interview also, with Bridget Quinn. The headling on-screen said "Iraqi Scientist Leads Soldiers to WMD Find" or something similiar." I missed the part of the interview where they described which WMD type they found? Or have they released that info yet?

Or have they released that info yet?

I heard part of that interview. She is not able to release yet some of the information she has learned.

That includes the ties to Al Qaeda that she mentions in the article. Bridget asked about that and Judith said she can't report more *yet*. It sure sounded like she has more on that topic.

Judith is in the middle of developing one heck of a story...maybe THE story of the war.

Bump again.

This is a HUGE story that doesn't seem to be generating much interest. I guess now that the shooting has stopped, the "Caption this Pic" threads have become too irresistable.

"An old friend who has become a Michael Moore lefty has been carping for months. He falsely predicted the war results and has nothing left but the "NO WMD" line. I have held my fire for the most part and let him rant. But I will not let him off the hook this time. He will forever be reminded how wrong he was if he dare spew his bilge in my presence again."

Sounds like a wonderful friendship.
