This is the true art of negotiation. Reagan used it to perfection and it seems as if Bush is taking a page from his book. It is better to get something rather that nothing. Tomorrow will be another day and the new baseline will be drawn. Incrementlism is in the Liberals playbook and has worked for them for generations, why not for the Conservatives too? Agreed. Some is better than none. And it is OUR responsibility to elect Big C conservatives into the Senate and House. That way our President will have backing for his priorities. He is not a king who can snap his fingers and get his way. NOw we should get out there and make the 2004 elections more sweeping than those of 2002! Get rid of L'garbage... ;)
