April 20, 2003 -- There were no signs in the childhood of accused killer Scott Peterson to suggest a monster in the making. Little League, family life and fishing dominated his idyllic childhood in sunny San Diego, Calif. And as he entered his teens, Peterson pursued golfing with a near-religious fervor.
Peterson's life story is a disturbing puzzle that is soaked in blood and cruelty.

It seems that Scott Petersen was almost without excuse.

Scott Peterson is a schiopath, IMO. Police are reopening the case of Kristen (I forget her last name) who disappeared from CalPoly while he was there.

Isn't it interesting what the Washington Compost will write about, when person's last name isn't Kennedy or Clinton?
To: Paul Atreides
No kidding! I am (and will forever, I fear) wait for the Arkanside tales about Bubba.

It's Kristen Smart, she was a Cal Poly student, and last seen after a college party while being escorted back to her dorm by a Paul Flores at 2:00 AM, on May 25th, 1996. Flores has always been the #1 suspect, but he's been taking the 5th the last few years.

Thank you! I felt bad about forgetting her last name. I grew up some 30 miles from CalPoly. My law enforcement relatives have told me Scott is being investigated, too.
There may be no connection, and I am certainly not painting with my broad brush, here.

Not to mention the rape charges against Bubba and Tubby Kennedy leaving that woman to drown.
To: Paul Atreides
That should say "rape allegations" instead of "rape charges."
To: Paul Atreides
I agree.

Nietzsche would have been very proud of Scott for embracing the "superhuman." Militant atheists should follow his example and ditch this "pick and choose" sentimentality they have toward certain aspects of Christian moral structure they favor and return to the time before humanity had any worth...at least if they are going to be consistent anyway.

sing it in a song..."
Imagine there's no heaven,
It's easy if you try,
No hell below us,
Above us only sky,
Imagine all the people
living for today...
Because we know that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely, we should be alarmed at the soft-pedaling of communism's history and the parallel move to grant the global elite more authority over our lives perhaps under a new name. Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...
About 170 million men, women and children have been shot, beaten, tortured, knifed, burned, starved, frozen, crushed, or worked to death; buried alive, drowned, hanged, bombed or killed in any other of the myriad ways governments have inflicted death on unarmed, helpless citizens and foreigners" in this century, writes University of Hawaii professor R.J. Rummel in his book "Death By Government."
Most of that death toll came in the 20th century and most at the hands of communist governments.
Without question, socialist regimes communist governments those that monopolize power in government, have been by far the deadliest culprits. Since 1949, for instance, one in every 20 Chinese citizens has been murdered, starved or killed by their own government. More than 50 million civilians wiped out in "peacetime."
During the last century, four civilians died for every soldier killed fighting in wars.
The Soviet government was the second biggest butcher regime, not only in the last 100 years, but throughout history. Many of the civilian deaths, such as those who died of starvation in Josef Stalin's Ukrainian terror famine, were murdered by government-dictated quotas. In sheer numbers, the Chinese and Soviet holocausts made Hitler's look trifling by comparison.
More recently, from 1975 through 1979, more than 2 million Cambodians, or 31 percent of the population, were destroyed by government edict inspired by utopian pipedreams. That belief in power as a tool of changing societies, combined with government's superior firepower, is the standard operating procedure this century, says Rummel. Imagine no possesions,
I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
A brotherhood of man,
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
That's what the EU is all about. That's what the New World Order is. That's what all the great global institutions are. They are creations of an elite determined to trample individual rights, destroy national sovereignty and undermine accountability. You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you'll join us,
And the world will live as one.
Question: In 2001, after the horrors of Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and a hundred other communist tyrants, why is it that anti-communism is still a dirty word? Is 'Anti-Communist' a Dirty Word? John Lennon, former Beatle, singer, writer and composer, was shot dead in New York on December 8 1980.

I'm not much into conspiricies of NWO, but the fact is that since the world embraced atheist materialism the loss of life has become mind-boggling. Catholics never deny that our history is bloody. We only claim that without that type of structured society (Christendom) the world would be far more violent and bloodier. That has proven itself to be so true.
The good news is that with the advent of molecular biology their worldview is crumbling right before their eyes.

Not to nitpick, and certainly not to sound like I'm defending someone who's very likely guilty as hell and a sociopath, but why would this headline presume to call him a "priviledged suburban kid"?
His parents seem thoroughly middle class, he reportedly worked three jobs to put himself through college and works (worked?) as a fertilizer salesman.
That description doesn't exactly conjure up images of summers in the Hamptons and shopping sprees in Paris.
