Why did Scottie sell her SUV, and why was he in the process of changing his appearance? But, what else do you expect these poor deluded people to say? That their son is a murderer?

I imagine he had to sell the SUV to pay bills. I haven't heard if he lost his job or not since this became a story a few months ago. As for his appearance, if my mug were on the news channels 24/7, I'd probably want to look a little different too, guilty or not.

Well why wouldn't he sell that 25,000 private club membership first? Seems like it would be worth about as much as the vehicle and if this were my spouse, I wouldn't want to part with their items FIRST if I really thought they were missing.

Not to mention that if your straights were so bad financially, why would you buy a brand spanking new truck instead of something modestly used.

$200.00 rounds of golf? Probably a professional hair job? This guy doesn't sound like financial prudence would be his primary reason for selling off his wife's belongings.
