I'd also like to nominate our own beloved Tom (Dunheap) Harkin. Today's Des Moines Register Opinion page was full of letters of outrage at Harkin's statement of last week referring to Saddam being a "paper tiger".

The amazing thing is that that left-wing rag published the letters.
