It is huh? Well you know, I wondered if it was of Irish origin! Some of the lines in the song suggested that. For one thing, the names: "Captain Farrell, Molly, etc..". Because of the words: chamber, rapier, pistol, also suggest a time frame of about the 1600-1700s or so. It also suggests that some of the characters are pirates!
