oh, not to be knitpicky, but most americans who designate their race as white are not 1/65th negroid. but yes, reparations get into a sticky business as to who would actually be reparated. Question: are they going to demand payment from the africans that went into the interior and captured them and sold them to the europeans and made profits off of them? why don't they try to end slavery which is still practiced in africa in some places?

1/64 is going back a real ways. Can you trace your family that far back? I would not qualify for reps because my mother who is half black isn't from this country. However, my father is a first generation American would have had to pay I am sure.

I am NOT a lawyer, don't even play one on TV, but I feel that the principle of 'Deep Pockets' is a certain factor here.
