Are you perhaps overreacting a bit? I thought Timothy McVeigh was supposed to be forgotten by now, anyway. Better to try to forgive and forget and not become bitter. Bitterness destroys its possessor.

Overreacting?

My dear fellow Freeper, government agents killed INNOCENT men, women, children and infants at a place of worship.

You and I may not agree with the particular beliefs of the Branch Davidians, but I defend their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Try saying that to our founding fathers, of which many lost everything they owned just so that we could become a FREE country.

"Bitterness destroys its possessor."

Yes, but forgetting history has the same effect.
