"I believe in my home state, you can shot a crow if it is flying to a corn field, flying from a corn field, or just looks like it is thinking about it. I beleive the law was passed back in the 70s."I believe that there was a treaty with Mexico in the early 70's designed to protect something called the white winged raven.

Don't know if it worked --- I wouldn't know one if it landed and took a crap on my shoulder. The treaty regulated a number of migratory species related to the common crow, but left it up to states to regulate how and when crows were fair game.

Isn't it amazing how those buggers [crows] are always planning their next raid on the crops?

What is it! The law was passed when another law, by accident, made it illegal to kill crows .
