What's a compound mean A fortified property where the law cannot be enforced. You know - like where the various Kennedys live.

ACtually, I don't want to get in an argument, but I live fairly close to WAco and at one time, we parked our motorhome there for about 6 months. I saw, read and talked to folks about this on a local level. It seems he did, in fact, go to town and jogged along the country road. It was said he shopped for supplies at, I believe, Home Depot. So, yes, however, you feel about the situation, I won't argue with anyone on it - but it seems there was ample opportunity for them to have at least attempted to handle it in a different way. There are just too many statements by people who have no axe to grind one way or another to not believe that is the case.

So I've noticed.
I'm just saying his name befits one of his political "ideals." Although, it seems his main ideal is power and after that a mish-mash of lefty platitudes and beliefs.
He's no libertarian and he's no conservative in the Burkean sense.

Weren't the Davidians the ones who started shooting first? No they came with covered cattle trucks. Jumped out and started shooting. Koresh opened the door and was shot.

We call that a tornado shelter. Yes, and I'm jealous - don't have one.

The FLIR "tests" were done under different weather conditions, using different weaponry, and with diliberately-placed reflectors designed to cause "solar glinting". All they prove is that the government didn't want to attempt a recreation when ground temperatures were similar to those of April 19, 1993, using weapons similar to those used on that day, and with ground cover similar to that shown in still footage from that time.

Evangelist David Koresh was a Christian. His respect for the Word of God greatly exceeded the children killing government atheists who referred to hearing "Bible babble". The rest of your screed notwithstanding, Vernon Howell was a psychotic loser who nevertheless knew how to appeal to weak-willed people who hated themselves and who would have believed you if you had told them you were Jesus Christ.

The Lincoln people said they couldn't count slaves as whole people. Lincoln wasn't even born in 1789.

Don't forget that reno personally authorized it.
And even after Waco, she sent in her storm troopers with assault rifles to get little six year old Elian.
And she talks about "the rule of law".
This is why the 2nd Amendment is 2nd, if we didn't have that, there would be no recourse against a government run amok.

Oh, please - cry me a river.
You connect "guns" to a church, and you don't have Christianity - you wind up with a stupid cult - something akin to the World Church of the Creator or some other trailer trash paradise.
Vernon Howell preached a scripture written in crayon and inserted for the pages they ripped out.

What's a compound mean? Technically, it is property that has more than one building on it.
