If he is proven in a court of law to be the killer . . . he exceeds Manson, Dalmer, Bundy, etc. A satanic monster.

Not by an order of magnitude. If guilty, he's a slug, no doubt about it. He is not, however, a sociopath, bent on multiple murders of strangers. If he's guilty he's just your average domestic abuse thug. Manson, Dahmer, Bundy each plotted and carried out the deaths of many whom they didn't know.

Manson even inspired his followers to target the children of execs of paper companies (they were Al Gore type eco freaks), to do to them what the paper companies did to trees (cut off limbs, remove skin, etc.). I know. I got that threat, by name, from them as a teenager. One of his lovelies served 15 years for that stunt.

You don't, but others are quick to jump to conclusions. It sure looks like he's guilty, but that's based on the well researched and always reliable tripe coming out of the American media "ministry of truth." If he didn't do it, but some sick serial killer did, where do you think he'd drop the bodies off, after all the publicity about that part of the bay? Remember Richard Jewel and the Olympic bombing.

To misquote Mr. Franklin, our judicial system is the worst there is, except for all the others.

I both appreciate and respect your insight. I wasn't reacting to this news from a logical position rather pure emotions.

This cuts deeper with me . . . when a woman gives her heart to a man and provides the greatest act of love to bear him a son, only to get murdered by him (again, to be proven first in court). . .I have a woman like her in my life. Thank God. So it is different relating to sociopaths whose victims would never have trusted them.

Thanks again for your insight and thank God you are alive today to share it.

You make a good point. The press has already presided over the trial and execution of Scott Peterson. Given the mass media's legendary skill at getting the story wrong at almost every turn, I'm reticent to light up the torch and find the pitchfork. Unless there was an imbedded news correspondent in the Peterson living room on Christmas Eve, I find the notion of eating what's been fed quite bland and in much need of salt.

That said, I think Scott Peterson drew more than enough suspicion with his erratic (stupid?) moves -- such as selling the vehicle and trying to sell the house while the spotlight is shining directly on him.

I hope the irony has not yet been lost on anyone -- an act committed Christmas Eve may be solved on Good Friday.

God likes to make a point. Either Peterson's falsely accused and is going to suffer for something he didn't do... or there's a little Justice (with the capital "J") in the universe...
