Hubby is dumber than I am. LOL Actually he was probably trying to please you in some twisted way. Sort of joining the fish.... My husband had similar with my father always helping him etc. and then it got more and more personal and delusional on my fathers part. All is resolved now however I sometimes wonder and the days get better and the memories turn to all good. We always tend to forget the bad bad things... My husband ran into my dad on train the other day. A man my husband was going to "kill" on sight for the last two years. The talked laughed etc. It was nice to hear how my husband was able to forgive in that one moment on a subway....LOL...he said my Dad looked good etc... Weird but I am doing better. Husband is better. My kids are better. I guess hope is always there.

You're right about the hubby trying to please, but I WARNED him even after the first time he hired him. But then, because AA/NA tells a person to "apologize" to those that you have hurt, (and my brother did) I FELL FOR IT! LOL So, I took the thief into our home. Oh, boy, I feel dumb. But, it could have been worse...thank GOD there wasn't a needle in the trash can.

(Subway) Bernard Geitz(sp) Glad your husband was able to tell you that your dad looked good.

Yep, hope is always there; when you get rid of the trash.(not sure if that's the right wording, but you get my drift.) :)
