Thank you. What's really sad about this, is my mother wanted me to get involved in "helping" in my brother's latest escapade...retail fraud, and I refused. That was a year ago and she will never speak to me again. I took my homeless, useless brother into my home, and he stole thousands of dollars worth of cash and jewelry, and my mother just won't believe it. Not only that, but my husband and I fell for his pitiful bullcrap 4 times, and we believed him every time. Then, something must have hit me in the head and I finally saw the light! LOL

Well, now my eldest daughter was just sworn in to the BAR last year, and I am so, so, proud of her. I am blessed that I have 2 wonderful daughters and my mother won't even speak to me or them. I've washed my hands of my mother and her 44 year old "boy."

Am so sorry you had to lose so much... Sometimes tough love is the only answer.

Good for you for resisting their attempts to drag you down.

Tell your daughter to expect a phone call, some time or other, from her uncle, who will be expecting her to represent him for free.
