Yes, they were worried he might flee. The amazing part of this whole arrest, is that they managed to keep it a SECRET, that the body was Laci's and they had the evidence they do..concrete blocks, fishing line, hooks.
This is a tightly run police department. Great job.

This is a tightly run police department. Great job. Can I be the first to apologize to them? It would be the best plate of crow I've eaten in a long time.
Kudos.

Wait a minute, I'm confused. I haven't heard anyone on T.V., not Rita or anyone else, say that the police
have the concrete blocks, fishing line, etc. All I've heard is speculation that he used this?
What an idiot...didn't he realize that if the body decayed it would detach from the blocks or fishing line?
I've never thought this guy was a very bright bulb...I sure hope the cops and the prosecutor have their ducks all in a row and that this guy goes to death row.

Did anyone just hear Mark Gerogos say that he has HEARD that Scott has made some type of an admission to Laci's family???!!!

The amazing part of this whole arrest, is that they managed to keep it a SECRETYes, that truly is amazing in this day and age. I know a lot of people were complaining about the lack of info coming out of this police department, but I think they've done a good job. We will all find out what happened soon enough. God bless Laci, Conner and the families. My heart goes out to both sides and may Scott rot wherever he ends up.

You are exactly right, sw; the police handled everything rock hard/nailed-down tight.
